    Alexander started his professional carrier back in 1999 by joining one of the leading local accounting firms in Ukraine ‘Consulting’ where he initiated the set up and took charge over the new ‘IFRS Department’ to assist clients in their educational and reporting needs.

    Later he joined PwC, where he gained the IFRS audit execution and management experience. After almost 4 years as an auditor, Alexander then believed into the bright future of M&A market in Ukraine and started the Transaction Services practice with PwC from scratch and developed it to leading positions in the market with over 30 full time professionals.

     Currently, Alexander is living in the M&A business assisting potential investors in making their minds in their investment decisions to enter the Ukrainian market and for local businesses to get prepared for the potential deal.

    Alexander has advised companies in mergers and acquisitions as well as performed comprehensive financial, economic and strategic analysis of companies with complex business structures and companies who wish to raise finance on the global markets. He supervised a range of full scope and limited and no-access due diligence projects in Ukraine and CIS.

    Alexander is experienced in servicing the PE and strategic clients in their transactions in Ukraine. The main industries of Alexander’s experience in assurance and advisory businesses included oil and gas, energy, utilities and mining, real estate, telecom companies, drinks and beverages, insurance, retail, finance market, and many others.

    Alexander has over 10 years of professional experience in accounting and financial analysis. He worked at various positions in Finance Department of Tetra Pak, large multinational company. He has extensive experience in local and IFRS accounting and reporting, assessment of the companies’ financial performance and their financial position, overview of financial reporting procedures, financial controls and management reporting framework.

    In 2005 Alexander joined Transaction Services Department of PwC. During 4 years he was involved in more than 20 financial due diligence projects in Ukraine and Russia and advised to a range of strategic and financial investors operating in telecommunication, oil and gas, mining, agriculture, pharmaceutical, food and beverages, banking, real estate, consumer goods and retail industries.

    Alexander also provided advisory services on a sell-side, assisting to the one of the largest Ukrainian telecommunication and pharmaceutical companies in their deal preparations.
